Taft Junior High School Data Oklahoma City Frames a Valentine Welcome for Teachers Basque Suit Is Teacher's Pet a pretty ensemble calculated to
add pleasure to a school teacher's extracurricular actives is being shown by an Oklahoma City store and is modeled
here by Miss Laura Daugherty, 2519 N.
Robinson, who teaches at Taft junior high school. Miss Daugherty is one of many men and women from over the
state who will be here for the annual Oklahoma Education association convention Thursday through Saturday.
This garment that delights Miss Daugherty is a basque jacket suit in gray wool flannel with a cardigan neckline,
and a full circular skirt with front fullness. With it she wears a white cotton eyelet blouse, navy straw
hat, bag and shoes and white "shorty" gloves.

Malinda Brown, the charming subject of
this valentine took one look at sunny skies Thursday morning and presented a smile equally as sunny, to welcome
4000 Oklahoma teachers gathering for the annual Oklahoma Education association convention Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday. Miss Brown, speech and French teacher at Taft junior high school, greets visiting teachers on behalf
of 1,055 other Oklahoma City teachers, the convention hosts. Miss Brown has taught for 10 years. (for Miss

I had her for Algebra in the 9A & 9B, 1945-1946.
