Jas. McGinnis to Leave.
It is with the very deepest regret we chronicle the early departure of Jas. McGinnis and his estimable family from Krebs to their new home in Oakmulgee. Mr. McGinnis is leaving this week but the family is not going until their children return from school, Johnny at St. Mary's, Kas., and Miss Anna at San Antonio, Texas.
During his ten years residence in Krebs Jim McGinnis has won a host of well-wishing friends, both old and young, and the public in general here and in McAlester and at the various mining camps all over this section. He has been the general manager and superintendent of the Busby coal interests, and during his ten years service in this capacity never had a cross word with or from the company.
He goes to Schulter, Okla., where he assumes a like position with the Pleasant Valley Coal & Coke Co., of Schulter and Coalton, he being one of the principal stockholders. He is succeeded by Jas. Elliott of McAlester.
Mr. McGinnis through this paper wishes to thank all former employees and the mining boys in general for their many noble acts and kind words given him in the past and wishing them all health, wealth and prosperity.
Goodbye Jim, and in the language of old Rip, "May you live long and prosper."
