Marriage Announcements


CARTASSI-ANTONELLI
Married. At the court house in McAlester Wednesday morning, Lewis Cartassi of Bache to Miss Jennie Antonelli of Alderson. The bridal party journeyed to the county seat in automobiles. They will reside at Bache where they have prepared a cosy little home.

DOYLE-MALLOY

June Wedding -- Announcement in made this week of the approaching marriage of Sylvester J. Doyle, assistant cashier of the Bank of Krebs to Miss Lilly Malloy. the accomplished daughter of Pat Malloy of Alderson. The marriage will take place on the morning of June 18th at St. Joseph's church in this city. In honor of the approaching event a miscellaneous shower was tendered Miss Malloy by Mrs. Wm. Nash of Alderson on Tuesday afternoon which was attended by a large number of Miss Malloy's friends. It was reported as a very swell society function and largely attended by friends along the interurban.

HARRIS-SEELEY
Married. --- Squire Heathcock journeyed to Adamson Saturday and united in marriage Chas. Harris, formerly of Krebs, to Mrs. Fannie Seeley.

KLINK-FEE Wedding
Among the many surprises sprung on our people was the marriage Thursday at noon in McAlester of Adam Klink to Miss Gertrude Fee, both of this city, the marriage ceremony being performed by Rev. Lagrone. pastor of the M. E. church of that city.
These young people are well known to almost everybody in Krebs. having grown up among us, and their acquaintance and friends includes a large circle.
Miss Gertrude graduated with high honors from the Kreb High School on last Friday night. Among the younger set she was a leader in their social functions, and a diligent church worker.
The groom is an industrious, trustworthy young man of good habits.
The Miner joins with then many friends in extending best wisher for future happiness.

LAPORTE-MONCRIEF
Seems as though these matrimonial surprises will never cease in Krebs. Last week Jno. Laport and Miss Esther Moncrief stole a march on their most intimate friends here and were married in Muskogee last Friday. The happy couple after making a short wedding tour arrived home Monday and have been receiving the best wishes of their host of Krebs friends.

PERIDES-CROSSWELL
Another march has stolen a young couple of McAlester. Mr. S. N. Perides, manager of the McAlester Candy Co. and Miss Beulah Crosswell, of Holdenville, Okla., were happily married at Wewoka on Nov. 7th, the young people keeping it a secret from their intimate friends until a few days ago. The bride has only resided in McAlester a short while but during that time has won for herself a large number of well-wishing friends. She is a most pleasant little lady and Sperro can well congratulate himself on securing such a girl for a life partner. This paper joins in wishing them a happy, prosperous wedded life.

RILEY-DALE
John Riley and Miss Florence Dale stole a march on their home folks and friends on Tuesday of last week and were married at the office of Judge Hammond in McAlester after which they went to Coalgate for a short visit. Both parties are well known here having resided in the vicinity of Krebs the greater part of their lives. They will make their home with Mrs. Riley, mother of the groom. The Miner extends best wishes hopes for their future happiness and hopes their troubles may all be "little ones."

ROBBINS-STEELE
Another surprise wedding took place Tuesday evening when Earl Robbins was wedded to Miss Bertie Steele at the home of Judge Heathcock in this city, the judge in his usual pleasant way tied the knot good and hard. The young people have a host of friends here who wish them much joy.
