Roger Mills County, Oklahoma
Events Every year, the Saturday after Labor Day, the people of Cheyenne
celebrate Pioneer Days. This is a time when we
remember how our pioneers
lived and survived in Western
Oklahoma. Examples of pioneer living
is shown
including hands on training in skills from churning butter to rope
making. The many exciting activities to see and
experience will make
Pioneer Days a memorable
experience. Following are some pictures taken at
different Pioneer Days. There is a parade featuring
cars and equipment
from years past and honoring our more
recent pioneers.
