Oklahoma Marriages



KELLY AND CALLAN DULLEA

Woodward, Okla. Kelly Hudgeons and Callan Dullea exchanged wedding vows July 12 at Cole's Garden in Oklahoma City.
Hudgeons parents are Kathy Cotton of Edmond and Ken and Jennifer Hudgeons of Stillwater. Dullea's parents are Joe and Marilee Dullea of Broken Arrow. Special guest was Mimi Phillips, grandmother of the groom.  Hudgeons is a 2001 graduate of Woodward High School.  Hudgeons wore a custom-made gown by Moe of Bridal Showroom of Oklahoma City. The dress was a diamond white silk chiffon empire waist with a beaded band and a sweep train. To complete the look she wore a bird cage veil. She had a hand-tied bouquet of red roses.  Her attendants were Lindsey Hudgeons, Maid of Honor and sister of the bride, and Nicole Alexander, Shay Ramirez, Jenna Kastelic. Crystal Reyes, Lindsay Merrey, McKenna Ganes, friends of the bride, and Layne Dullea, sister of the groom. Attendants wore custom-made knee length black silk chiffon with empire waist dresses by Moe. Flowers were hand-tied bouquets of red roses with a green tracheli and green hypericum berries.  Dullea's attendants were Best Man Cameron Dullea, brother of the groom, Trevor Hudgeons, brother of the bride, Cole Burdette and Landon Nalley, cousins of the groom, and Chris anderson, Aaron Daniel, Hutton Lowry and Josh Cook, friends of the groom.  A reception was held following the wedding at Cole's Garden. Servers were Emily Palmer, Hannah Nalley, Amanda Bray and Casey Nalley. Singer was Haley Ragsdale.  After a wedding trip on Carnival Cruise, the couple is living in Tulsa.

Kincaid-Ross wedding

Lake Hefner Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was the setting of the wedding of Karalin Korine Kincaid and Major Robert Wallace Ross III on February 14, 2009.  The wedding vows were performed by Richard Gremillion of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rev Gremillion is a personal friend of the groom. Close friends of the groom and family of the bride witnessed the ceremony.  The bride was attired in a satin A-line gown with side split tulle inset with beaded detail at the waist and a button back. She wore an elbow length, 2 tired veil with pearls and rhinestone flowers accented with a comb of pearl clusters and swarovski rhinestone crystals, a white organza wrap with lace and bead detail along with a crystal floral design "y" necklace and matching earrings.  Kincaid is the daughter of Pat and Kay Kincaid of Mooreland. She is a 1993 graduate of Mooreland High School and graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with Bachelors of Science degrees in Health & Physical Education and Elementary Education. She was assistant director at Kids Inc. in Woodward before beginning her teaching career in Fowler, Kan. where she teaches 1/2 day Kindergarten and 1/2 day sixth/seventh grade math and is assistant high school girls basketball coach.  Ross is the son of Michael and Joy Garey of Fayetteville, NY. He graduated from Faye Heville-Manlius high school. He then graduated from LeMoyne College with dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology and further graduated from Air University with a Masters of Military Art and Science and Syracuse University College of Law with a Juris Doctor and is a member of the New York Bar. Ross is an AWACS Mission Crew Commander and is the Chief of Wing Combat Command Operations, 552d Air Control Wing, Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City.  The couple will make their home in Oklahoma City.

Hensal-Foster wedding

Julia Roxanne Hensal and Benjamin Douglas Foster were united in marriage on January 8, 2009 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Wedding vows were exchanged on the beach at sunset, with Jeff Brown, friend of the bride and groom, officiating.  Julia is the daughter of Mike and Linda Hensal of Woodward. She is the granddaughter of Coryne and the late Robert Feese of Woodward, and John and Lila Hensal of Hemphill, Texas.  Benjamin is the son of Kirk and Claudia Foster of Georgetown, Texas. He is the grandson of the late Homer Reed of Tulsa and the late Mattie Reed of Cleveland, Texas, and Thomas and Laura Foster of Huntsville, Texas, and the late Ada Foster of Huntsville, Texas.  Julia wore an ivory silk chiffon strapless gown, with ruched bodice adorned with jeweled accents along the sweetheart neckline and the empire waistline. The back of the gown and the chapel length train were also adorned with jeweled motifs. She carried a bouquet of fuchsia roses. She was escorted by her father, Mike Hensal.  The Matron of Honor was Jillian Wells, sister of the bride. Honorary bridesmaids were Jaime Spencer and Jessica Hensal, both sisters of the bride. The flower girl was Carli Hensal, niece of the bride. The bridesmaids and Matron of Honor each wore a tea length black chiffon dress with ruched bodice and a fuchsia sash. The Matron of Honor carried a bouquet of pink lilies. The flower girl wore an ivory princess gown with a fuchsia sash at the waist and carried a basket of fuchsia and pink rose petals.  The Best Man was Matthew Foster, brother of the groom. Caleb Hensal, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer. The groom wore a black suit and an ivory silk tie. The Best Man wore a black suit and a fuchsia silk tie. The ring bearer wore black pants and a black silk tie, and went barefoot.   The couple spent their honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta. A wedding celebration was held in honor of the couple on January 31, 2009 at the McIntosh Conservatory in Edmond, Oklahoma. Julia and Benjamin now live in Leander, Texas.

Lewis-Hunter wedding

Ryan Skyler Lewis and Derek Alan Hunter were married Aug. 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Woodward. Officiating the ceremony was Rev. Donnetta Hunter, mother of the groom.  Skyler is the daughter of Jess and Kathy Wales of Woodward and Pat and Gale Lewis of Oklahoma City. She is the granddaughter of Lenora and the late Tom Mead and Stub and Laverna Dezort all of Woodward, Don and Melba Garrison of Oklahoma City and the late Frank and Phyllis Lewis of Crescent.  Derek is the son of Dan and Donnetta Hunter of Woodward. He is the grandson of Don and the late Elsie Painter and Leo and the late Eileen Hunter all of Woodward.  Skyler wore a strapless candlelight brocade lace floor length gown with a sash made of ice blue and deep purple silk. She carried a bouquet of lime green roses. She was escorted and given away by her father, Pat Lewis.  The Maid of Honor was Ally Lewis, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Hope Gentry, Victoria Rodriguez, Kaylie Mullins, Jessie Kline and Chelsey Daggs, friends of the bride. Blair Beauchamp, sister of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid. The flower girls were Gretchen Mead, cousin of the bride, and Jennavive Corley, niece of the groom. The bridesmaids each wore deep purple silk sleeveless, mid-empire waist dresses with ice blue silk sashes and carried bouquets of blue, purple and lime green hydrangeas. The junior bridesmaid wore a deep purple silk circle wrap dress withe a cream silk halter bodice. The flower girls wore ice blue silk empire waist, bubble hem dresses with deep purple silk sashes and carried flower buckets adorned with blue, purple and lime green hydrangeas.  The Best Man was Tim Wardwell, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Jeremiah Madsen, Giana Vecchiarelli, Aaron Costner, Cody Valentine and John Morrison, all friends of the groom. Hunter Corley, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer. The groom wore a solid ivory tuxedo with a ice blue silk tie, while the groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos with deep purple silk ties.  After a honeymoon cruise to Cazumel, the couple is making their home in Oklahoma City where Skyler is continuing her education at Oklahoma City Community College and Derek is employed by Dell.


 

Wise-Welch wedding

Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Ark. was the setting of the private wedding ceremony of Jacey Denae Wise and Joshua Ryan Welch on Dec. 20, 2008.
Wise is the daughter of Gary and Connie Wise of Woodward. Grandparents are Keith and Glenna Melkus of Larned, Kan., and E. F. and LaVerne Wise of Freedom. She is a 2003 graduate of Woodward High School and graduated in 2006 as a licensed cosmetologist from Stillwater Beauty Academy.  Welch is the son of Forrest and Debi Welch of Mannford and the father of Danny Laine “Howdy” Welch. Grandparents are Lloyd and Maxine Stanley of San Diego, Calif. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1996 and attended Western Oklahoma State College on a rodeo scholarship.  A reception and dance was held at Kennedy Hall of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Woodward on Jan. 10, 2009.  After a honeymoon in the Ozarks, the couple is living in Mannford. Wise is enrolled at Central Technology Center in Drumright in the surgical technology program where she will graduate in June 2009. Welch works at Mills Welding and Construction in Cushing.
