Leland D. Kesterson was married to Charlotte McClure 07 May 1846 in Lafayette Co MO. There is a theory that they were divorced. Leland's second marriage was to Mary Ann (Johnson) Hink McDonald, 11 July 1865 in Lafayette County MO. Leland and Mary moved to Oregon sometime after 1870. Leland & Charlotte (McClue) were the parents of Sarah, Mary E, Catherine Jane, Nancy E, Florence Caroline and Martha L. Leland & Mary (Johnson) were the parents of William L, Charles Franklin, George Harvey, Joel Hilloch, Minnie T, Rhoda Belle and Noah D. This photo, owned by Valerie Schomburg, is five generations. Mary Kesterson was married to Daniel Sims on the 26th day of January 1871, in Lafayette County MO. Mary & Daniel Sims are the parents of Robert, Mattie, Ernest & Carrie Sims. |

| Joel H. Kesterson, son of Leland D. & Mary Ann (Johnson) Kestersonwas born 26 February 1872 in Lafayette County Missouri and died 02 June 1946 in Gresham Oregon. Married to Clara Irene Giese who died 3 March 1941. Joel was married for the 2nd time to a woman named Ina who died 22 April 1950. Joel and Clara Kesterson were the parents of Raymond Cecil Kesterson who is buried in the Willamette National Cemetery. |

Also buried in this cemetery is Emma Kesterson (but we have no photo) in plot # 134. There are no dates on the headstone. The Plot # is the same as that of Leland and Mary Kesterson, so I can only guess that she might be a granddaughter.
