PHILIP FOSTER CEMETERY

Philip Foster was an original settler in Eagle Creek and was partner with Samuel Barlow on the Barlow Road.  The oldest tombstone is 1860.  However, local legend is that at least 3 Barlow Road emigrants died at Eagle Creek and were buried here prior to 1860.

The Philip Foster Cemetery is located at 30220 SE Hwy 211, Eagle Creek, OR, 24E31A Tax Lot 2600, 0.78 acres and is part of Philip Foster DLC 39.  It is in the Estacada Cemetery District.  From the junction of Hwy 211 and SE Eagle Creek Road, go east to the first road to the right, Eagle Nest, just past the feed store.  Follow the road across Goose Creek, up the hill and it is on the right at the top of the hill.   It is surrounded by a chain link fence.
