Davis Mrs. J.C. Jun 18, 1823 Nov 13, 1897       Others records have placed Mrs. J.C. Davis in the Upper Fish trap cemetery, but this appears to be incorrect. Her obituary on p.15 of Pioneers and Incidents of the Upper Coquille Valley by Alice Woodridge, indicates she was "laid to rest in the cemetery near the J.J. Lamb place". On p.92 of this same book, the obituary for J.J. Lamb indicates "he settled on Rink Creek near Coquille" before moving into Coquille City.
