June also reports that she visited the old school building, now a private residence in about 2000. At that time,
the old school bell and playground equipment was still intact. (also mentioned by Jim Churchill in his account
of the school in Remember When: Coos County, Oregon Schools, 1850 - 1940 by William A. Lansing).
