Census are now available to the public. Pages will
be transcribed, indexed and posted.
Cemeteries are being
cross-indexed with existing obituaries. Newspaper
items (including births, deaths, marriage) from March -
April 1890 from the Eugene Guard has been included. March 4,
2012 Renfrew Grave has been added to the cemetery, along with his headstone and obituary. Two new towns have been added to the towns list... Lemati & Amos. Robert & Marietta contributed 2 more obituaries for the Stafford family. Several more advertised letters have been added to the list and the B-M-D from the Daily Guard from Jan. - Feb. 1899. February

10, 2012 Updated list of towns and
communities. All biographies and biographical
brevities from Illustrated History of Lane
County, Oregon have been
added. New maps of Bohemia Mining District and
Nesmith County. New section for local history and
links to external Lane County web sites. February
3, 2012 Towns of Junction City, Cottage Grove,
Eugene & Lane have been incorporated from The Oregonian's
Handbook of the Pacific Northwest. Many, many, many new obituaries have
also been added. December

15, 2011 Most
county pages have new look and feel. Also with this update is
inclusion of a birth
index, additional marriages in the marriage index,
including early county marriages (1852 - 1869).
The newspaper
section has been rearranged by years and subject
with more data added as well. Though obituaries
don't have this new (yet), they have updated with many
new entries. A brief history behind the
creation of the University of Oregon is now under
schools.

Clean up work on the
obituaries and cemeteries to get the general file sizes
down. I know, admin. stuff, boring... So I
also added several new obituaries.

A complete list of burials
(not final) of the Creswell
Cemetery is now on line. Obituaries and images
will be filtering in.
The Cloverdale (Lower) Cemetery is now up. It does include the headstone images and some obituaries. More obituaries will be added and linked in the very near future. More obituaries have been added. Browse or use the search tool to find your missing family.

May 4, 2011 Under Faces & Places, a new
catagory has been added, photographs. These are
various images taken from around Lane County.
A new subject has been added, schools!
In the future... might try adding yearbooks and
reunions. To start this new area, graduation lists
are being added. The graduation lists
include both high school and 8th grade graduations.
February 8, 2011 Cemetery index has been completed on the Valley View
Cemetery and the Stafford
Pioneer Cemetery with links to found obituaries.
The following cemeteries are now complete with available
obituaries:

**** More obituaries have been added. All of Feb. 1950 and Jan. 2002 are now available. Also added: March 1950, May 2000 & Feb. 2002 (From the Register-Guard) **** Cemeteries have updated, adding links to cemetery listings and images. Lower Mabel Cemetery complete, Upper Mable, Stevens (Stephens), Luper cemeteries started. **** Marriage page has been revamp. Marriage license application and divorce petitions have been added. Addition marriages have also been added. **** January 1900 birth, deaths, marriage license applicaitons and divorce petitions have all been added from the Eugene Daily Guard. the obituaries keep growing. Now have complete
obituaries for January 1950, November 2001 added.
Feb. 1950 and Jan. 2002 started.
**** 1900 census records are starting to populate. Complete transcription for Mabel Pct., and McKenzie Bridge Pct. **** Additional birth records have been added, covering parts of Jan. 1950 and Feb. 1910. August 6, 2010 Many more obituaries have
been added. The additional information includes all
obituaries/death notices from the Register-Guard (Eugene,
OR) for months the of July 1967, January 1979, February
1979, December 2001.
**** The marriage records were
changed. It is now separated into 2 areas, index and
details. The index will list just the basic marriage
information and the details will do just that, go into
greater details.
**** Military records now
include casualties from WWI, WWII and the Korean War
native to Lane County.
**** Several more biographies
have been added. These come from History of Oregon: Volume II
(1922).
