Types of Data We're Looking to Post Online
Send transcribed biographies, obituaries, vital records, census records, newspaper
gleanings, military records, or if you have walked cemeteries and have transcribed those
names and dates, and any other type of data you think would be helpful to researchers
Regretfully, we do not have time to do
research for anybody.
All data we come across will be added to this site.
We thank you for visiting and hope you'll
come back again
to view the updates we make to our site.
Linn County, Oregon
Located in the Willamette Valley, Linn County was created in 1847 from the southern portion of Champoeg County.
It was named for U.S. Senator Lewis F. Linn of Missouri, the author of the Donation Land Act, which provided free land to settlers in the West. [Source: Oregon Blue Book]
