     Independent Order of Odd Fellows was instituted at Baltimore, Md., on April 26, 1819, by Thomas Wildey, with five members. It has now reached the enormous membership of 2,230,231.
     The first degree in the Encampment was conferred on February 22, 1821.
     The Rebekah degree was instituted on September 20, 1851.
     Assets, I.O.O.F.   67,000,000.00
Spent for relieft in 1918  6,509,889.65
