Directions: Take 99W into Amity and either turn onto 6th St. or 5th St. (Bellevue-Hopewell Hwy.) Turn onto Woodland Way and the cemetery will be right there. I will include a map soon.
Amity Cemetery faces Woodland Way. The cemetery is separated by a "road" that leads from a set of gates at the street. The gates have always been closed (when I go) but there is no fence so you can just park in front of the cemetery and walk in. On the left side of the cemetery is brush and some outbuildings of some sort, to the right are large bushes and the other side of that is the Bellevue Hwy. The back of the cemetery is bordered by a field. I am not sure at this point who takes care of it but it is in good condition. Here and there a stones that were broken but are now repaired and I have only come across a couple that are broken still. I have started on left side of the dividing "road" with the first row and the first stone. Rows will be marked A, B, C. etc... and will precede in order to the back, at that point I will switch to the other side of the "road." There is also a small "road" horizontal between Rows A & B. Signs posted mark that the cemetery is closed at dusk. On the far side of the front of the cemetery is a small gate that used to be connected to some sort of fence that I assume ran the whole front of the cemetery.
