Walters, Ira "WALTERS— THOMAS The Reformed church. Arendtsville, was the scene of a pretty wedding ceremony last evening, when Miss Blanche Thomas, Menallen township, and Ira Walters, of near Fairfield, the 'Rev. T. C. Hesson. pastor of the church. The ring ceremony was used.

The bride was attended by Mrs. Elsie Beamer, as maid of honor and Miss Ada Walters and Mrs. Ella Beamer, as bridesmaids. Charles Thomas, was Mr. Walters' best man. The ring bearer was Bruce Thomas, a nephew of the bride and Ruth Myers and Edna Walters acted as flower girls. The wedding party entered the church to the Lohengrin march, played by Mrs. William K. Fleck, Fairfield, who also rendered the Mendelssohn march for the recessional.

Following the ceremony a reception was given the newly married couple at the home of the bride, at which nearly fifty guests were present. This morning Mr. and Mrs. Walters will leave for a wedding trip of several days and upon returning will reside in Carrol's Tract, near Fairfield. where the bridegroom is engaged at farming.

The bride is a daughter of Mrs. David Thomas, Menallen township. For a number of years she has been teaching shcool in the county, lately holding a position in Menallen township. She is a member of the Reformed church, Arendtsville, in which she has been an earnest worker. She is a popular young lady of the vicinity in which she has resided. Mr. Walters is a son of Thomas Walters, of near Fairfield and has, for a number of years, been engaged with his father, at farming."

Miss Pauline C. Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, and Jacob Will, son of Mrs. Mary Will, both of Littlestown, were united in marriage at 5 o'clock Tuesday morning in St. Aloysius church, that place, by the rector, the Rev. E. O. Flynn. Mrs. and Mrs. Nevin C. Long, Westminster, brother-in-law and sister of the bridgroom, were the attendants.

The bride wore a dress of white georgette trimmed with shadow lace and veil of net with coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white carnations. The matorn of honor wore a dress of nile green georgette with hat to match and carried a bouquet of white daisies and pink carnations.

Miss Marie Buddy, Littlestown, played the wedding march, and after the ceremony James Collins sang "Oh Promise Me."

A breakfast was served to the wedding party and guests at the home of the bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Mary Will. Mr. and Mrs. Will left on a wedding rrip to Washington and other points.

Miss Beatrice Wolf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wolf, Hamilton township, a teacher in the public schools of the county for several years, and Carl H. Fitzkee, formerly of Allentown, now a bookkeeper at Mummert's Garage, East Berlin, were married at the bride's home, Tuesday evening at 8:30 o'clock.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul Glatfelter, of East Berlin, inthe presence of 35 guests. Guests were present from Gettysburg, Hanover, York, Allentown and other towns and cities. A reception followed the wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Fitzkee left this morning on a wedding trip to Allentown and Niagara Falls.

The bride is a niece of Mrs. Joseph U. Appler, North Washington street.
