Mr. John Calhoun, of Altoona, is visiting relatives and friends in Bedford.
Attorney S. R. Longenecker spent two or three days this week in Philadelphia.
Miss Nellie Mardorff went to Rainsburg on Wednesday to visit Mrs. William Ingard.
Miss Lena Fyan attended the Cromwell-Hearne wedding at Atlantic City on Wednesday.
Mrs. J. L. McLaughlin and children are visiting Mrs. McLaughlins brother, Mr. A. M. Beatty, of Harrisburg.
Prof. J. H. Cessna, of Altoona, and Prof. L. J. McGregor, of Hyndman, were in Bedford a few days this week.
Mr. E. E. Sanford, of Huntingdon, route agent of the Adams Express company, spent Monday with friends in Bedford.

Rev. c. J. Musser and family, of Philadelphia, have taken up their residence here with Rev. Mussers father-in-law, Mr. J. A. Mowry.
Mr. Clay C. Hafer, of Birmingham, Ala., is visiting his cousin, Mr. J. Harper Hafer. The former is a passenger engineer on the Q. & C. railroad.
Moses A. Points, Esq., spent several days this week in Carlisle attending the commencement exercises of Dickinson School of Law, of which he is a corporator.
Miss Mable Bochert, little daughter of Col. George Bochert, of Pittsburg, returned with Mrs. John E. Eicholtz from the Smoky City on Saturday and will spend the summer here.
Miss Zora L. Fletcher, of Clearville, who has been attending Miss Reeds school of shorthand, on Monday went to Williamsport to take a business course in the college at that place.
Mrs. William F. Cromwell attended the wedding of her step-daughter, Miss Lydia H. Cromwell, M.D., who was united in marriage to Mr.J. G. Hearne at Atlantic City on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Kirk, of Curwensville, attended Friends quarterly meeting at Fishertown on Sunday and spent a few days here this week with Mrs.Kirks sister, Mrs. E. H. Blackburn.
