| Lechner, Samuel | Samuel Lechner | Manatawny, July 30; Samuel Lechner, 75, died yesterday in his home here. Born in Oley Township, a son of Wallace and Fannie (Haas) Lechner, he was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Spangsville. Lechner is survived by his widow, Katie (Drumheller) Lechner, and four daughters: Bertha, wife of Michael puchinsky, Reading; Mabel, wife of George S. Bennethum, this place; Ethel, wife of Harrison P. Christman, Oley, and Edna, at home. Also, two sons, Paul, of Oley, and Stanley, at home; seven grandchildren, and two brothers; Charles, of Birdsboro R.D.; and Wilson, of Boyertown. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Schwenk Funeral Home, Boyertown, the Rev. Lawrence R. Tropp officiating. Burial will be in Oley Church Cemetery, Spangsville.
