| Manwiller, Dorothy F. | Services were held for Dorothy F. Manwiller, 84, formerly of Butter Lane, Exeter Township, who died June 16 in St. Joseph Medical Center. Manwiller had been a resident of Manor-Care Health Services Inc., Muhlenberg Township, where she had resided since April. Her husband, Irvin D. Manwiller, died in 1990. Born in Stony Creek Mills, she was a member of Zion (Spies) Evangelical Reformed Church, Alsace Township. Surviving are a half brother and three half sisters. | Manwiller, George H., Sr. | Services will be held Feb. 12, 10:30 a.m. in the Leibensperger Funeral Home, Hamburg, for George H. Manwiller Sr., 70, who died of natural causes Feb. 8 in his Frontier Avenue, Bern Township residence. Burial will be in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery, Ontelaunee Township. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia A. (Vance) Manwiller, who died March 9, 1998. Born in Bern Township, he was a son of the late Paul A. and Myrtle M. (Geiger) Manwiller. Until retiring in 1993, he was employed as a mechanic and shop foreman by Ontelaunee Orchards for 44 years. Surviving are two daughters, Tina M. (Manwiller) Chavis, with whom he resided, and Sharon L. Manwiller, Leesport, and five sons: George H. Manwiller Jr., Annville, Lebanon County; Ricky L. Manwiller, Robesonia; Richard A. Manwiller, Kenneth E. Manwiller, and David H. Manwiller, all of Leesport; and a stepson, Paul K. Vance, Lock Haven, Clinton County. There are also 10 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, and three great-grandsons. | Manwiller, Harold L. | Private services were held for Harold L. Manwiller, 77, of Harman Road, Exeter Township, who died March 27 in his residence. He was the husband of June A. (Tothero) Manwiller. Born in Exeter Township, he had been employed for 32 years as a truck driver by D. B. Diefenderfer Inc., St. Lawrence, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Zion Spies Evangelical Reformed Church, Alsace Township. Manwiller is also survived by two sons, William Snyder, Reading, and Ronald L. Manwiller, Exeter Township; and two daughters, Carolyn L. (Manwiller) Christman, Lower Alsace Township, and Bonnie L. (Manwiller) Roth, Exeter Township. Other survivors include two sisters, Dorothy (Manwiller) Fick, Temple, and Marian (Manwiller) Shaub, Akron, Lancaster County; and four brothers: George, Exeter Township; Clarence, Pikeville; Stanley, Temple; and Warren, Dover, Tenn. Born in Oley Township, he was a son of the late David W. and Catherine H. (Shane) Manwiller. Manwiller was employed as a carpenter until his retirement. He was a graduate of Oley Valley High School. Manwiller was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Spangsville. Surviving are two brothers, Irvin H., Boyertown, and Paul E., Reading. Services will be private.
