Sons--Ezekiel, Joseph and Benjmain. Daughters--Mary Webb wd/o Daniel, Elizabeth White and Ruth Leonard w/o Daniel, Brother in law--Charles Turner. Son in law--William Harlan (Ruth was the d/o Richard & Alice Buffington)

The information on Ruth Harlan is incorrect. Ruth Buffington Harlan's parents are Richard Buffington (Boveington, Bobbington) and Anne Frances or Parsons. They had ten children, Anne died about 1799.
His second wife was Frances Vane Grubb the widow of his business partner John Grubb. No Children
Ealse (Alice) Palmer was the 3rd wife of Richard and they had 3 children. Abigail, Joseph and Alice Buffington.
Alice and Richard married about 1720.
Richard died in January of February, 1747/8, probably about ninety-four years. He gave a legacy of pounds 20 to the Baptist society which met at John Bentley's, in Newlin township.

Mary, m. Charles Turner; Elizabeth, d. 1748/9, m. Peter Collins and John
Freeman; Lydia, m. George Martin;
The children of Alice Palmer: Abigail, b. September 1721, d. April
1813, m. Edward Seed and David Fling; Joseph, d. Nov. 17, 1785, unmarried;
Alice, d. July 19, 1775, m. ___ Mc Arthur and James Hance.

Will of Richard Buffington, Immigrant
Provides for wife Alice.
To daughters Hannah Dain(Dean), Mary Turner, Elizabeth Freeman and Lydia Martin, a Bible worth 30 shillings each. To son William all wearing apparel. (Anne's children)
To daughters Abigail Seed & Alice Mc Arthur, a Bible each. (Alice's daughters)
To son Thomas' (deceased) heirs 5 shillings. To son Richard's (deceased) heirs 5 shillings. To daughter Ann Hickman's (deceased) heirs 5 shillings. To daughter Ruth Harlan's (deceased) heirs 5 shillings. To son John's (deceased) heirs 5 shillings.
To son Joseph remainder of real & personal estate and if he dies without heirs then to daughters Abigail & Alice. (Alice's daughters and her son the youngest of Richard's sons.)
To Owen Thomas minister of the Anabaptist Society held at John Bentleys in Newlin £5 also to Society £20 in annual payments of £5. To Richard Kimbel £2-10. Executor: son Joseph. Witnesses: Evan Jones, Wm. Bennet Saml. Grubb.

Most of the records can be found in the Quaker Monthly meeting records in Chester.
I believe it is important for the mother's to receive proper credit for the children they bring into the world.
