Struck By Auto; Fatally Injured
Morning Herald (Hagerstown, Maryland) September 19, 1930
Adam Lauver, 75, of Webster's Mills, Fulton county, pa., died at the Chambersburg hospital Wednesday from injuries received when struck by the machine of Joseph Everette, of Plum Run. Lauver was visiting his brother-in-law, Samuel Melott, and yesterday morning walked into the road near the Melott home. Investigation of the accident showed that Everette sought to avoid hitting the aged man and severed his machine but the fender caughter Lauver and dragged him for a distance of 25 feet.
