This congregation was organized in 1730. The first church building was a log house, but no record exists as to when it was built. It was probably erected between 1701 and 1733. The second church was a stone building which tradition claims stood for 100 years. The third church was built in 1847. Rev. Casper Stover was one of the oldest German churches in Lancaster County and is located in East Cocalico Township. The following inscriptions are from the new cemetery.
