This reformed church, an offshoot of the Muddy Creek Church was started in 1749 when sufficient members were living in what is now West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, to start a separate church. Up till this time the members traveled to the Muddy Creek Church to attend services. Hirneisen, Judith: Here rests in peaceful slumber, Judith Hirneisen, d. of Jacob and Katherena. She was born December 10, 1815. In the year 1819 she started her trip with her parents and brothers and sisters to America where she landed in good health after a sea voyage of 56 days. She arrived September 29th in the port of Philadelphia were she lived with her parents. She received her education from Mr. Christian Kergereis. In the year 1834 she was confirmed in this church and received her first holy communion from pastor Leinbach, fifteen months before her death. She contracted consumption and wasted away until finally death freed her from illness. She died December 26, 1834. Her age was 19 years and 16 days. She was born in Hochdorf, Oberamt Horb, in the kingdom of Wuertemberg.

Reverend Johannes Waldschmidt - To God alone by glory. Here rests in God the Reverend Johannes Waldschmidt, b. August 6, 1724, ordained for the Ministry, 1752. (Here a break in the stone). Died September 14, 1786; 62 years, 5 weeks, 4 days. He was in reality 62 years, 1 month, 8 days. A monument recently erected to the memory of this clergyman contains the following inscriptions - Rev.
