John Bollman - Son

Bollmans Announce Birth of 1st Child

Mr. and Mrs. John A. Bollman, formerly of Lebanon and now of 7 Highland Drive, Highland Village, Camp Hill, announce the birth of their first child, a son, born this morning in the Harrisburg Hospital. The new arrival weighed eight pounds and 12 ounces and will be christened John Adam Bollman, Jr. Mrs. Bollman is the former Regina Czajkowska, of Wilkes-Barre and Mt. Gretna. Fifth Son is Born to Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Boltz

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey D. Boltz of 2452 Mifflin Stree announce the birth of a son born Monday evening at 11:30 o clock at their home. The child weighed twelve pounds at birth. This is the fifth son in the family and the sixth child, the other being a girl.

Before her marriage Mrs. Boltz was Miss Violet Long of this city. Mr. Boltz is employed by the NEWS as make-up man in the mechanical department.

Oscar Clair, Jr., of 420 North 9th street, is observing his eighth birthday today.  The young celebrant was the recipient of numerous gifts and felicitations from a hot of juvenile friends.



Susan Clouse Celebrates Birthday

Miss Susan Clouse of 477 North Fifth street was showered with gifts, flowers and greetings on Monday upon the occasion of a birthday anniversary. A special dinner was held in her honor. Miss Clouse is employed as a waitress in the Central Restaurant.

Paul Dry and Wife are Parents of Girl

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dry of Richland announce the birth of a daughter, born to them this morning at 1:25 o'clock in the Lebanon Sanatorium. The mother is the former Lillian Noll. 3rd Birthday Party for Kathryn E. Shirk

Kathryn Elizabeth Shirk, pretty little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ammon Shirk is observing her birthday anniversary today at the home of her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Quarry, Minersvillage. It is the occasion of her third anniversary and in celebration of the event, she was tendered a party on Wednesday afternoon. Ten guests were present at the affair and all were three years of age. The celebrant was showered with a number of lovely gifts, including a daintily decorated birthday cake, the gift of her autn, Mrs. William Quarry. Halloween decorations were prevalent throughout the home. The guests were served with a delicious luncheon. Those present included: Virginia Hale, Louise Chernich, Richard Chernich, Hazel Sheckler, Robert Metley, Mary Jane Reppert, June Sweigart, James Sweigart, Jr., Melrose Fay Floisher and Jane Frances Shirk. Marian Heddinger Celebrates 10th Birthday

Marian Heddinger Is Observing Birthday

Marian L. Heddinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Heddinger, of 526 North Eighth Street, a fourth-grade pupil at the Mifflin school building is receiving felicitations today on the tenth anniversary of her birth. She is a pianoforte pupil of Miss Mabel Bensing and has already acquired such skill that she has appeared at a number of public musical functions. She is widely known because of her musical accomplishments and also because of an attractive personality and good wishes poured in upon her today at the residence of a relative on Maple street, as her own home is under quarantine because of illness there.
