FRANCIS L. COLLUM, member of the firm operating the Allentown Boiler Works, was born in Allentown, August 16, 1893. He is the son of Charles Collum. He was graduated from the Allentown High School with the class of 1907 and later attended Muhlenberg College. In 1910, following the death of James T. Knauss, of the firm of Collum & Knauss, owners of the Allentown Boiler Works, Francis L. Collum was taken into partnership with his father in the conduct and management of the plant. His firm has executed many large and important orders for boilers, stacks, etc., in various sections of the country. He is a member of the Delta Theta Franternity, the Elks and the Knights of Columbus.
