WILL H. KOCH, prominent clothing merchant, and proprietor of the clothing establishment bearing his name, was born September 9, 1880, at Kuhnsville, Pa., the son of Willoughby J. and Elemina (Guth) Koch. His early education was received in the public schools of his native township and the MIllersville State Normal School. His business career was founded when he began a seven-year period of employment as clerk in the clothing establishment of Koch & Shankweiler, Allentown. In 1903, with Miles K. Person, he organized the clothing firm of Koch & Person, at 634 Hamilton Street. Later the firm leased the Stillwagen property on the southwest corner of Center Square, and moved its business there. On January 1, 1915, Mr. Person retired from the firm, Will H. Koch continuing as the sole proprietor. He has built up a fine trade and ranks as one of the most fashionable tailors in the city. He has a faculty for making friends upon first acquaintanceship, and is widely known as a business man of character and integrity. He is a member of the Elks; P. O. S. of A.; Odd Fellows, and other clubs and organizations. Mr. Koch is also actively identified with the First Presbyterian Church. On January 1, 1904, he married Mary C. Horn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin F. Horn, of Allentown.
