Mrs. Beers, pronounced dead by Dr. Arthur Koven, died of a fracture at the base of the skull, according to Ronald Fierro, deputy Luzerne County Coroner. Fierro, who said no autopsy would be performed, released the body to the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home here. Trooper Richard A.
