All persons indebted to the estate of Alanson Thompson, late of Wellsboro' dec., are requested to make payment to the subscribers in Wellsboro' on or before the 23d of October next; and all persons having demands against said estate, are requested to present them for settlement on or before said day.

We learn with pleasure, that this institution is now in a flourishing condition, and bids to become one of the best in the state. The Rev. T. Pinkham, the Principal, is a gentleman of superior abilities, who will doubtless advance the welfoare of the institution to a degree of eminence. The Trustees deserve praise for their unceasing exertions.
