Died. 

At sea, on the 16th ult. MR. WILLIAM GORHAM , of Bristol in the 22d year of his age. The suavity of his manners, his industrious habits, and integrity of heart, will long be remembered by an extensive circle of acquaintance, by whom he was respected and beloved.

FORTUNE V. (ROMANO) GUIDA ,age 92, of Gibson Road, Bristol, died peacefully Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Linn Health Care Center, East Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Guida Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Buoniauto) Romano and the step daughter of the late Angelina Romano. Mrs. Guida was the first female Credit Manager in Providence, she worked for the former Gerber Jewelry in Providence for many years, ending her career working with her husband Louis in his accounting office in Warren. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and a member and a Past President of the Sowams Garden Club of Warren. She is survived by a daughter, Louanne M. Travers and her husband Roger J. of East Providence, a grandson, Todd J. A. Travers of East Providence and his fiance Diane Jannitto of Bristol, and a brother, Ronald A. Romano of West Warwick. In addition to her husband, parents, and step mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Prete and a brother, Frank Romano, II.
