1825 Mills Atlas Index
Abbeville County, South Carolina
transcribed by Andrew Staton

Abbeville District then covered all of present day Abbeville County, as well as half of Greenwood and McCormick. You can tell where in Greenwood County it ends because "Cambridge" is the edge of it, and Cambridge is another name for Ninety-Six. The "British Fort" is Star Fort.

William Robertson was the surveyor. The survey of the district was done in 1817, being the first map in the Mills Atlas to be completed.
