Willie F. Jones, private, Medical Detachment, 118th Infantry. For extraordinary heroism in action near Brancourt, France, October 7, 1918, in the face of heavy enemy fire Pvt. Jones, together with three other stretcher bearers, advanced before our front line and brought back to shelter a wounded Australian officer.    Residence at enlistment: Abbeville, S.C.
