Beaufort County Obituaries South Carolina

Clarence VonHarten BEAUFORT - Graveside services for Clarence H. (Zoo) VonHarten, 96, will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Helena's Episcopal Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 this evening at Copeland Funeral Home. Mr. VonHarten died Thursday. Born in Beaufort, he was a son of the late Clarence Henry VonHarten and Lillie Brasson VonHarten. Mr. VonHarten was a Mason. He and his borthers owned and operated VonHarten Brothers Chrysler-Plymouth Auto Dealership for many years. Surviving are his sons, C.H. "Sonny" VonHarten, W.R. "Skeet" VonHarten both of Beaufort; daughter, Verna VonHarten Neeley; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
