July 6. – A marriage of much beauty and interest was
solemnized at the Ridgeville Baptist Church at Early Branch
Wednesday night at 8:30 o’clock when Miss
Bessie McTeer, the attractive and popular daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Albert McTeer, was married to the Rev. Robert Roy Brown, a prominent
Presbyterian minister of Chester County. [State – 7 July 1919

Chester , July 21. – Miss Lennie Wylie was quietly married to
Hal B. Murphy on Tuesday evening at
the Bethel Methodist Episcopal church parsonage by the pastor,
the Rev. C. C. Herbert. Mrs. Murphy is one of Chester ’s
popular and attractive young ladies and graduated from
Winthrop college in June, while the groom is a well known
young business man, being an employee of the Murphy Hardware
company. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wylie
