David Hoyt Turner - "The finest material is always found wrapped in a very small package."
International Relations Club, '37.
Although Hoyt is a very quiet and modest boy, he sometimes gets a little rowdy.  Everyone likes him because of his unlimited friendship and willingness to help you whenever he can.

Rodella Turner - "The only way to have a friend is to be one."
Classical club, '36, '37; International Relations Club, '37.
Although Rodella is quiet in a reserved way, she is well liked by all who know her.  We all wish her success.

Wilson Cannon Wearn - "It's the small things that count."
Football Team, '34, '35, '36, '37; International Relations Club; Classical Club, '34, '35; Beta Club, '36, '37.
Wilson is an independent thinker, and a conscientious, dependable worker.  Everyone has come to respect his judgment for he is usually right.  We see a successful future for you, "Red."

James Wesson - "A rae good fellow."
"N" Club, '37; International Relations Club, '37; Football Squad, '34, '35, '36, '37.
Plenty of fresh air and exercise have given James his athletic build which has made him indispensable on the football team.  Under his manner of quietness and reserve there is a friendly attitude that is well liked by fellow students.

Paul Walker Whitaker "Whit" - "Drink not too deep at the fountain of knowledge - lest ye strangle."
Football, '36, '37; Honorable Mention, All-State, '36, '37; "N" Club, President, '37; International Relations Club, '37; Kast, '37.
Everyone loves "Whit" for his generosity, irresponsibilty, friendliness and kindness.  He has proven himself a true sport on the football field and has had the honor to be mentioned as "all state" for the past two seasons.  For "Whit," we see a bright future!

Cecil G. Williams - "Mottoes and epitaphs are meant for tombstones - read mine there."
Kast Club, '37; International Relations Club, '37.
Cecil is a quiet, unassuming fellow, yet he has taken an active part in everything worth while.  He is liked by all the students and bids well to be popular in after life.

F. Alton Wood - "Education today should deal more closely with actions of modern times."
International Relations Club, '37.
Alton is an old standby as a friend and classmate.  In spite of the fact that he works a great deal he always has time for some relaxation.  We wish for him all success possible because we know he deserves it.

Jack Blease Workman - "If worry were the cause of death I would live forever."
International Relations Club, '37; President Senior Class, '37; Cheer Leader, '37; Best All-Round Boy, '37; Cutest Boy, '37; Beta Club, '37.
Jack has been with us for four years and has won the love of his classmates and faculty.  He is admired by all the young ladies because he has a great love for smiling at them.  Whatever Jack may do his classmates wish him great success.
