Resume of Football Season
This year, Capt. Henry Baker, who proved to be an all-state end, and Alternate Captain "Dick" Floyd led the football team through a fairly successful season.  We played a hard schedule, and although we did not win a great percentage of our games, we always gave our best.  It is impossible to value too highly the training which Coach Hedgepath gave us.  Our team was composed of boys who worked for the team as a whole and not for personal distinction.  We feel sure that our football training will help us to solve many of the problems that are to confront us in the future.

Henry Baker - Honorable mention all-state end, 1936; All-state, 1937
