He entered the preparatory department of the Seminary at Lexington in 1849--commenced the study of Theology at the same institution in 1851 and graduated with honors in 1853. He was licensed as a minister ov the gospel at St. Matthews Church, Orangeburg District in November of that same year and having received and accepted a call from Beth Eden Pastorate, he entered upon his duties as pastor immediately after his licensure. Died of Typhoid dysentery at home of Mr. Henry W. Rikard |
