Lexington ... Luther and Varessa (spelling in Mrs. Wicker's Caughman book) were born in Lexington. They moved to Smith Co., MS in 1858 and Cephas was born there in 1860 left to right:  Luther Caughman, brother of Vanessa, Cephas Caughman, Brother of Vanessa, Joanna Swigert, maiden aunt of Vanessa, James Monroe Muckelruth, Palie Muckelruth, Donnie Muckelruth.  James Monroe Muckelruth had an accident with a horse and the crutch leaning against the gate was used by him.   This is a FREE website.
