William Andrew 25-year-old died August 2, 1852 in
Pickens District SC survived by a wife and infant son, a
widowed mother, brothers and sisters. He was ill for
more than a year and for the past seven months was
confined to a couch becoming exceedingly emaciated.

Central, July 6. – Miss Ethel Clayton and Marion Lawrence were married at the
residence of the bride’s parents, Dr. and Mrs. L. G.
Clayton, last Thursday afternoon at 6 o’clock . The
house was beautifully decorated with ferns and roses and
the ceremony witnessed by only the two families. The
happy young couple will make Pickens their home and they
carry with them the best wishes of the entire community.
