Platé Mrs. Faye Pooser Platé, 75, of 2803 Clark St., Columbia, died Tuesday (February 2, 1982) at her home. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Hattie Jane Porter Pooser. She was an employee of Tapp's sportswear department for 30 years, and a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Faye Palese of Long Island New York, two brothers, a sister, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, conducted by Rev. Dr. Robert F. Sims. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Charles C. and Allan Platé, William "Pete" Tapp, Roger Porter, Vernon Lewis, and Jott H. Copp. The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the South Carolina Heart Association or Ebenezer Lutheran Church Dies at Hospital Robert Truesdale Platte, 46, of 1528 Blanding St., died at Columbia Hospital yesterday afternoon (December 9, 1952) at 5:30 p.m. after several days' illness. He was born in Columbia, the son of the late Louie Platte and Maggie Snyder Platte. He was a taxi driver. Survivors include his wife, the former Fay Pooser; one daughter, Mrs. Jerry Palese, Columbia; three grandchildren, Michael, Richard and Linda Palese of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Edna Walker, Spartanburg; two brothers, H. L. Platte and W. A. Platte, Columbia, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the Paschal-Regal Chapel Thursday afternoon, conducted by Dr. Carl A. Honeycutt. Interment will follow at the family plot in Elmwood cemetery. The body will remain at the Pascal-Regal Funeral

State, Columbia, South Carolina - December 10, 1952) Born in Columbia, he wasWayne David Porter a son of Furman Rhodes and Janell Hill Porter. He was a 1982 graduate of A. C. Flora High School, attended the University of South Carolina, and was a civil engineer and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Linda Carr Spires Porter; his parents of Columbia; a sister, Mrs. Diane P. Rogers of Columbia, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ollie S. Hill of Columbia. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Bethel United Methodist Church. A viewing will be at 2 p.m. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Furman Porter of 1700 Seay Court.

charge Mrs. Peake of Blaney Dies of Burns Mrs. Vergie Martin Peake, 58, of Blaney died early Monday morning (February 2, 1953) in Columbia Hospital of burns suffered last week. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Holly Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church near Pontiac by the Rev. Paul K. Drumm. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Peake was admitted to the hospital more than a week ago after being severely burned when a kerosene can exploded while a fire was being made in an open fireplace. Three other members of the family also were admitted to the hospital for treatment of burns received in the explosion. Mrs. Peake was born in Richland County, the daughter of Adolphus and Lizzie Lee Martin. She is survived by her husband, Lee Peake Sr.; two

Beatrice Norton, Columbia; five sons, Walter Peake, Dentsville; Lee Peake Jr. and Leroy Peake, Columbia,

Richardson Mr. Richardson died Monday, January 5, 2004. Born in Irmo, he was a son of the late Jacob Willie and Annie Rosabelle Chapman Richardson. He was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church, Boyleston Lodge #123 AFM, and Ballentine Chapter #280 OES, and was a retired construction superintendent. Surviving are his daughter, Annie R. McCartha of
Irmo; granddaughter, Dr. Leslie A. Kinchen and her husband, John, of Ridge
Spring; sisters, Lenora Clyde Amick of Irmo, Martha Leaphart of West
Columbia, Ruby Kustus of Columbia, Alma McNeely and Emma Lee Gaston of
Irmo; brothers, Jacob Lamar Richardson and Willy Carroll (Billy)
Richardson of Irmo. He was predeceased by his wife, Nannie Ellisor

January 8, 2004) Mr. Robertson died Monday, April 10, 2000. Mr. Robertson was a retired technician with Sears. He was a member of Catawba United Methodist Church, the Rock Hill Chapter of the Federation of the Blind and the Hurricane Hunt Club of Clinton. He worked with leather and wood and was an avid gardener. Surviving are his wife, Lenora Bauknight Robertson;

12, 2000) Mrs. Richardson, wife of the late Edward R. Richardson, died Friday, June 20, 2003. Born in Irmo, she was the daughter of the late Harless Franklin Seigler and Martha Jane Croom Seigler. She retired from retail clothing sales in New York. Surviving are daughter, Le-Ann Richardson Dwyer of
Irmo; grandchildren, Jackie Dwyer, Tara D'Ambrose, Jamie Dwyer and James
D'Ambrose; and great-grandchildren, Jodie Wilson, Amber Keisler, Kassidy
Kyzer and Joey Kyzer. She was predeceased by her daughter, Donna
