Cyrus Burns
THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA
TO WHOM ALL THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME - GREETING,
     Know Ye, That in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature entitled "An Act for establishing the mode of Granting the lands now vacant in this State, and for allowing a commutation to be received for some Lands that have been granted," passed the 19th day of February, 1791, We have granted, and by these presents do grant unto Cyrus Burns his heirs and assigns, a Plantation or tract of Land, containing one hundred & seventy one acres Surv'd for him 7th December 1822.  Situate in York District on a Branch of Bullocks Creek and Broad River having such shape, form and marks, as are represented by a Plat here-unto annexed, together with all woods, trees, waters, water courses, profits  commodities, appurtenances and hereditaments whatsoever, thereunto belonging; To have and to hold the said tract of One hundred and Seventy one acres of land, and all and singular other the premises hereby granted unto the said Cyrus Burns, his heirs and assigns,  forever, in free and common usage.

GIVEN UNDER THE SEAL OF THE STATE
WITNESS, His Excellency John L. Wilson, Esq., Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over the said State, at Columbia this third day of March, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and twenty three and in the   forty seventh year of the Independence of the United States of America.

South Carolina
I do certify for Cyrus Burns a tract of land containing one hundred and seventy one acres.  Surveyed for him fhe 7th Sep. 1822.  Situate in York District on a branch of Bullock's Creek & Broad River beginning at a Red oak  the corner of Col. William Ferguson's land & bounded by lines running NW. NE. & North by Jeremiah Dossons lines, SE by George Knox's lands, SW by Col. Ferguson's line, bounded on all sides and hath such forms and marks as the above plat represents.

Jesse Ashcraft Chester District

Pursuant to a warrant from the Commis. of Location for said Dist. dated December 1st 1842 I have admeasured and laid out unto Jesse Ashcraft a tract of Land containing Two Hundred and fifty three acres in said State and District on the So E side of Fishing Creek and Cain run branch, adjoining Lands of Joel Ashcraft John Mobly Wm. Celsey in the Indian Land of which the said Jesse Ashcraft is the present leesee and that such shape marks buttings and boundry as the above plat represents.

Given under my hand January 20, 1843

Joel Ashcraft York District

Pursuant to a warrant from the Commissioner of Location for York District dated January 11th 1843. I have admeasured and laid out unto Joel Ashcraft a Tract of Land containing Three Hundred and ninety four acres in said Dist. on the East side of Fishing Creek on the waters of Cain run in the Indian Land part of which land was Conveyed to the said Ashcraft by Jonathan Davis and Dr. Culp of which he is the present Leesee adjoining Lands of A Wherry Joseph Crook John Mobly Jesse Ashcraft Wm Celsey Saml Reid and John Pitman and hath such shape marks buttings and boundrys as the above plat represents.

Pursuant to a warrant from John G. Enloe Clerk of the Court & Ex. officio Commissioner of Locations in the District of York dated twenty Eighth day of September 1850, I have admeasured & laid out unto John M. Ashcraft a Tract of land containing one hundred and seven acres, situated in the said District, on Caney Run Branch waters of Catawba River, bounded as represented by the above plat; and hath such form and marks as the above plat doth represent. Surveyed the 3rd day of October 1850.

Rachael McCollough

South Carolina

Pursuant to a warrant from John G. Enloe, Clerk of the Court, and Ex. officio Com’r of Locations in the District of York dated the 26th day of September 1850, I have admeasured and laid out unto Rachael M.Collough, a tract of Land containing seventy four acres, situated in the said District, on Caney Run Branch, water of the Catawba River, bounded as represented by the above plat, and hath such forms and marks as the above plat represents. Surveyed this 4th day of October 1850.

Samuel Reid and George Reid

South Carolina

Pursuant to a warrant from James Keykendall, Commissioner of Locations in the District of York dated the 28th day of November 1849: I have admeasured and laid out unto Samuel Reid and George Reid a Tract of Land containing two hundred and forty Eight acres, situate in the said District, and in the Indian Land, on waters of fishing Creek, a tributary of Catawba River, bounded by lines running S.E. by lands surveyed for McElesise?, Reid and Kelsey - lines running N.E. by land of Ashcraft & Pitman, N.W. by lands of McCullough, S.W. by lands belonging to Anderson and Chambers; and hath such form and marks as the above plat represents. Surveyed the 10th day of January 1851.

Given under my hand the 13ath May 1851.
