Pfc Ralph W. Meier, husband of Mrs. Avis N. Meier, 401 South Duff street, is missing in action, according to a United Press story Friday.
Pfc Meier was reported missing in action that occurred Dec. 30, 1951, his wife said she had been informed by the Defense Department. Mrs. Meier received the telegram notifying her that her husband was missing Jan. 5. She received the same day a letter from her husband that had been written Dec. 29, she said.
Pfc. Meier entered the Army Nov. 16, 1950, and left Sept. 10, 1951, for Korea.
He is from White Lake and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meier.
