Huron High School Faculty
A. J. Lang, B. S., M.A., LL.B.
Superintendent of Huron City Schools
Mr. Lang has just completed his eighteenth year as superintendent of the Huron City Schools. During these years he has gained an everlasting place in the heart of every member of the student body.
His kindly nature greets each and every student, both inside and outside of school. Students, who have gone to him for counsel, have found him of valuable assistance.
With these years of guidance under his skilled hands, any student graduating from Huron High School should feel that his high school background has been complete.
Our faculty proved their loyalty to their country by setting aside
many otherwise free hours to serve on various defense jobs. At the
start of the 1942-43 school year, four new faculty faces appeared on our
campus in the persons of Miss Bonnell, Miss Nimtz, Mr. Engel, and Mr. Campbell.
At the close of the first semester, Miss Ruth Wilcox resigned to accept
a position at Dakota Wesleyan University. Her Session Room and the
faculty each gave a Farewell Party for her. No new teacher was hired to replace her, as there already
was sufficient teacher time. Now for the vital material about our
