Minister and Merchant Drowned
Big Stone City, N. D., June 29 – The Rev. James Williams, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church at Bristol and Bradley, S. D., and Abraham Jones, a hardware merchant of Butler, S. D., were drowned near the Simpson Park camp grounds this morning, a bad leak in their boat causing it to sink under them. [The Langston City Herald, Langston City, O. contributed by Karen SeemanThe explosion of a gas stove caused the destruction by fire of a house on a farm near Lily in which Adolph Grandsberg and his family resided. Mrs. Gransberg was home alone at the time and was badly burned about the face and arms while trying to save some of their household effects.
