Maintaining the navy tradition, Della A. Bahr, 21, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Bahr, has just completed her basic training and indoctrination course, as a seaman 2-c, at the Naval Training School, The Bronx, N.Y., and has received orders to report for duty at the naval air base at Alameda, Calif.  Seaman Bahr, a graduate of the Miller high school was employed as messenger at the Sioux Falls Army Air Base.

    A brother of Seaman Bahr, Edwin, enlisted in the navy at the age of 17, and was on duty in the Pacific when captured by the Japanese early in 1942.  When last heard from, he was in a prison camp at Osaka.
