Philippine Soldiers
Ask For Revolvers
Anybody totin' a .45 or .38 caliber revolver not needed for a while? If not, there are a couple of chaps in the Philippines who say they would find such weapons mighty handy in their fox-holes at night when the Japs sneak through their lines.
The request was made by Archie Brown of Harrold, S.D., in a letter to his father, A. P. Brown of that place. The latter made the request public in an advertisement which he has ordered published in The Daily Huronite and Plainsman next Sunday.
"I will pay any reasonable price for the revolvers," the father said.
