3. S. S. Winters, farms 12 miles from Miller.
4. Mark Lester, farms north of Miller, came to Hand county in spring of 1882.
5. Andrew Maiden, farms north of town.
6. Curtis Turner, farms 3 miles S. of Bramhall. Notced to have been an "invalid" of many years, but is much better.
7. Dr. R. L. Smith, farms 6 mi. N of Bramhall.
8. Wilson family, farms 8 mi. N of Bramhall.
9. Christian Halbig, a blacksmith & wagonmaker. Came to Hand county from Galen, Illinois, in 1882.

11. A. L. McWhorter came to Hand county from Altoona, Ia.
12. Prof. Thompson of Ames, IA. Teaches Mechanical Engineering at Ames during the year; farm is 3 mi. W of Bramhall.
13. A. J. Gifford, farms SW of Miller.
14. William Miller, farms 2 mi E. of Bramhall.
