N. E. STEELE IS COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER,
JAMES DEGEEST, EILEEN JOHNSON HONOR STUDENTS

High School days for 41 seniors will close next Thursday, climaxing a busy commencement week.Activities opened with the annual Junior-Senior banquet on Tuesday evening.
Baccalaureate services will be held Sunday evening at the auditorium. Rev. Frank Whitney, pastor of the Methodist church, will give the sermon. The srevices will begin at 8 o'clock.
Seniors will hold their annual breakfast the following Wednesday morning, and afterward, at 10 o'clock , will present the class day exercises.
N. E. Steele, president of Northern Teachers College at Aberdeen, will deliver the commencement address to the large class of graduates on Thursday evening, May 21. Dr. Steele's address will be "American Democracy and World War Two."
James DeGeest and Eileen Johnson are valedictorian and salutatorian of the class. Graduates are:
