History:
The Lower Camp Cemetery, also known as St. Joseph's at Two Kettle, was started about 1892 on land donated by Lincoln Tall Mandan, a young Indian who was later buried there. The cemetery is located on a high hill overlooking the White River. The fence is in very poor condition and there is no sign of any recent activity. It is overgrown with grass. Some of the headstones are still standing. It is affiliated with the Catholic Church.
