Location:
Section 34, Township 42N, Range 29W - North Unorganized Township

History:
The White River City Cemetery is located across Highway 83 at the north end of the town of
White River. It is fenced on three sides and seems to be cared for. The graves are in orderly
rows and most have some kind of stone or marker.

On 3 March 1919 the cemetery was organized by C. E. Kell, D. L. McLean, J. S. Hight,
S. P. Brown, and Eric Broadball, who each donated $50.00. The land was purchased from
the government and as lots were sold, these men were repaid.

Mr. Schoppert is working to bring the White River Cemetery records up to date.
