Ex-Mayor
Calhoun, of Atlanta, furnishes the following lists of graves of Tennessee soldiers
to the Nashville Union and American: He
says: "I hand you the
names of soldiers from Tennessee, who fell in the battle of the 22d July, 1864,
near this city. They
are buried on my farm, and their names; with the companies and regiments to
which they belonged are plainly written on the head boards of their graves. Their friends may not know that their graves can be identified, and I
have thought it would be interesting to them to know that it can be in a
great many instances." Here
