There were six children born to this union: Wilson, Ada, Richard, Buford, Marie, and Polie. Marie now the only living member of this family. Buford married Audie Caplinger and lived on the homestead farm. Their children are: Alfred, James Richard, Bernard, and John. Marie married Chester Presson from Carroll County. They farmed, cut timber,and also did defense work in Oak Ridge, TN. Marie is a twelve-year employee of Benton County Hospital, one son, Gene born to this union."
