CARRIE (MELTON) FARRAR of Camden, age 99, were held Thursday, May 22, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home with Johnnie B. Arnold officiating. Burial followed at Flatwoods Cemetery. Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home of Camden was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Farrar passed away Wednesday, May 21 at Camden General Hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1908 in Benton Co. to the late Arthur Melton and Vera Keneva Melton. She was a homemaker and a member of Flatwoods Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. "Billy" Farrar, two sisters, Myrtie Berry and Doy Stone, and four brothers, Donley, Vonnie, Henley, and Glynn Melton. She is survived by a son, William D. (Joan) Farrar, of Camden; one grandson, one great-granddaughter, and two great-great-grandsons.

JACK LASHLEE FARRAR ,71, Camden - Services for Mr. Jack Lashlee Farrar, 71, will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at Stockdale-Malin Chapel in Camden, TN with burial in Benton Memorial Gardens. Mr. Farrar, retired from TVA, died Sunday at his residence in Camden. Survivors: wife Helen Tuder Farrar of Camden, TN; daughter, Teresa Daugherty of Camden.

MARY J. (HAMMILTON) FENDLEY - 68, of Big Sandy died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at her residence. She was married to William "Bo" Fendley, who survives. Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Harmony Baptist Church, southeast of Paris, where she was a member. Jeff Hardy will officiate. Burial will follow in Ramble Creek Cemetery at Big Sandy. Chosen as pallbearers are Justin, Stephen, Alan and Jacob Felty, Bryan Patterson and Will Wright. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at the church. Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Big Sandy is in charge. Born Jan. 10, 1940, in Harrisburg, Ill., she was the daughter of Otis and Mildred Sharp Hamilton, now both deceased. She was a homemaker. In addition to her husband, she leaves three daughters: Rebecca (Ron) Felty of Hebron, Ind., Kelly (Kevin) Rich of Medina and Karen (Todd) Ernest of Yorkville, Ill.; one son: Steve (Mary) Fendley of Valparaiso, Ind.; one brother: Mike Hamilton; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

BOBBY G. FINLEY - Services for Mr. Bobby Finley Sr. were in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery. He was retired from the U.S> Army serving in Vietnam and Korea, and receiving the Bronze Star Medal and a Purple Heart. Mr. Finley was preceded by hiswife, Erika Wabneggar Finley. Survivors include his son, Bobby Jr. of Adamsville; three daughters Sonja Orand of Enville, Erika Finley of Savannah and Aurelia McGee of Adamsville; one brother Wayne Finley of Enville, his companion of 25 years Lizzie Alley of Enville and several grandchildren.

WILMA (FORREST) FRENCH 83, of Paris died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at her residence. Her funeral will be at at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Jeff McKee will officiate. Burial will follow in Rushing Creek Cemetery near Camden. Chosen as pallbearers are Dallas Sterling, Jason, Johnathon, Cody and Mark Pierpoint, Daniel Hardin, Douglas "Bubba" Hardin Jr., and Steven Lindsey. Visitation was scheduled 4-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Born in Camden on Nov. 26, 1925, she was a daughter of Earnest and Ersa Mae Ward Forrest, now both deceased. She was married to James Boyd "J.B." French, who died Nov. 13, 1992. She was a member of New Beginning Church of God between Big Sandy and Camden. She leaves one daughter: Brenda French Starling of Paris; one son: James B. "Jimmy" French Jr. of Camden; one sister: Ernestine (Bill) Hensley of Camden; one brother: Nathan (Louise) Forrest of Camden; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Linda French Pierpoint; and a brother: Lloyd Forrest.
